The @AirMag twitter account, an account affiliated with Nike, has leaked a bit of info on the release of the Nike Air Yeezy 2. According to the image above, the countdown pegs the release at 100 days from now, which is March 23rd. No word on which color is going to be release but stay tuned for more.

Nike Air Yeezy 2 – Updated Release Info

After we reported last month that the Air Yeezy 2 would release in March of 2012, we were hit with a bit of extra info today.
According to a countdown posted by @AirMag, the highly anticipated kicks will land on store shelves on March 23, 2012, thus confirming our previous info.

Hype for the Yeezy 2 has been off the charts since we first caught a glimpse of the kicks and has continued through the VMAs, “Watch The Throne” tour, and Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show performance. Now, we can finally provide you with some concrete release info for the kicks.
While colorways and price point have yet to be determined, we can now confirm, that the Nike Air Yeezy 2 will drop in March 2012.
There have been various rumors of US/Euro exclusive colorways, a G.O.O.D. Music exclusive colorway, etc. so stick with SneakerFiles as we’ll provide more info as soon as it’s available!

Nike Air Yeezy 2 Black/Pink â€“ New Images

Last night Kanye West and Jay-Z rocked the stage at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA for the kick-off of their highly anticipated Watch The Throne Tour. Not only did fans hear and see the hip-hop greats perform classics like “99 Problems” and “Jesus Walks” amongst other tracks from their recently released WTT album, but they also got a glimpse of the forthcoming Nike Air Yeezy 2 Black/Pink.
Back in July as we only got a glimpse of the colorway from his computer, but today we now have first ever on-foot images of the highly coveted sneakers. Could the Nike Air Yeezy 2 Black/Pink colorway be releasing soon? As many have speculated a year’s end quickstrike release, we’ll have to just continue to watch the throne to find out!

Yesterday we showed you guys Kanye West performing with what appears to be the Nike Air Yeezy 2. Today we have newer images of the Yeezy 2.Â Looking quite similar to the Nike Air Yeezy 1, this pairs featuresÂ a dominate black leather upper sitting on top of a white midsole. Now these may be samples, so the look of the shoe may entirely change. Still no release date info or other info has been said, but stay with SneakerFiles for the latest. Kanye West Officially Debuts the Nike Air Yeezy 2

After months of speculation, Kanye West officially debuted the Nike Air Yeezy 2 last night at Coachella. West brought out the Yeezy 2 during his live performance after an outfit/shoe change. From the looks of the pic after the jump, the Yeezy 2 does not seem to be too far off from the Yeezy 1 with its chunky upper, midfoot strap, and glow in the dark outsole.

No word on a release date or anything like that as of now. Once I hear more, it will be posted.
